What is the Symposium?
The Undergraduate Symposium on Research and Creative Activity (UGS) at Southern Miss is an annual event that showcases the outstanding work being done by undergraduate students across campus. The event is proudly co-hosted by The Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research (DCUR) and the Honors College (HC). UGS Presentation and Arts Showcase awards are sponsored by Mr. Donald Drapeau and the Southern Miss Partners for the Arts, respectively.
UGS will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Registration for the 2025 Undergraduate Symposium for Research and Creative Activity is now open. Please register by April 10, 2025 as presenter, attendee, moderator, or judge.
