Appointments and Checking Labs

Students, faculty, and staff are asked to make appointments in advance in order to
receive service more quickly. Same day appointments can be made if scheduling is available. This also helps us keep the volume of patients waiting in the lobby low. Appointments
are not required for immunizations.
Methods to Make an Appointment
Health Portal
The Health Portal can be used to make appointments, view labs, and view immunizations. We encourage our patients to use this whenever possible to save them time and provide them access to their labs and immunizations outside of operating hours.
Moffitt Health Center's web portal and inclusion on the iSouthernMS app is here to make health care easier, faster and more convenient for you.
- Appointments can be made through the iSouthernMS app on your smartphone. Once you have downloaded the app, click on the "Clinic" icon, which will direct you to the online health portal to create an account in order to make your appointment.
- Appointments can also be made online with our health portal via a desktop or laptop computer. The web portal is confidential and secure.
- Access our new web portal at https://shsweb.usm.edu/
- Use your SOAR credentials to log in. If you get locked out of your portal account, please call us at 601.266.5390. Note: Affiliate employees who do not have SOAR credentials will not be able to utilize the portal.

- Appointments can be made by calling our front desk at 601.266.5390.
Checking Lab Results
Labs can be checked online via the health portal. Access the portal and choose the View Labs tab.
