• Full-time Southern Miss freshmen, sophomores, or juniors in good academic standing and pursuing one or more of these majors:

• Biological Sciences BS
• Biological Sciences (Biomedical Sciences) BS
• Biological Sciences (Conservation Biology) BS
• Biological Sciences (Microbiology) BS
• Chemistry (ACS-certified Chemistry) BS
• Chemistry (Biochemistry) BS
• Polymer Science and Engineering BS

• U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, or DACA Status Recipients
• Students who seek an advanced degree in preparation for a career in scientific research and/or medicine and who already are or will be working under the guidance of a participating faculty mentor.
