On March 28, 2023, colleagues from USM and beyond met at the Polymer Science Auditorium for an interdisciplinary and interactive day of learning and discussion about STEM education research. The event celebrated and honored the legacy of Thomas Waring Bennett and his parents, who started something special at Southern Miss with the creation of the Bennett professorship in his memory.
