M.S. Program Requirements
In addition to USM's general academic requirements, admission to the M.S. program
requires a bachelor's degree in a science area (or combination of professional education
and science), a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate study, and
if pursuing a Class AA teaching license, a Class A teaching license is required.
Ph.D. Program Requirements
In addition to USM general academic requirements, admission to the doctoral program
in Science Education requires a master's degree, three years of secondary or college
level teaching experience, a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate
study, and a minimum GPA of 3.5 for all graduate work.
