The USM Army ROTC Alumni and Friends support the program and cadets through generous donations.
Alumni Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to deserving cadets on the path to serve as an Army Officer upon graduation and commissioning. Current scholarships include:
- MG Blount Army ROTC Scholarship and Development Endowment
- Col. Ernest Kitchens Army ROTC Annual Scholarship
- Shephard H. and Cynthia K. Patton Scholarship Endowment

Giving
Alumni interested in supporting the program may visit the USM Foundation website, and follow the following steps in the designation area of the giving form:
- You can choose to designate your gift to one of the funds listed under "Military Sciences";
- To see the funds, please click on "Give to the area(s) of your choice" and a pop-up box will appear;
- Within "Military Sciences" displayed in the pop-up box, a drop down arrow will appear to the right of that category;
- By clicking the down arrow, the funds in "Military Sciences" will appear below the heading, allowing you to view the funds available within our unit;
