Graduate Nursing Programs
Thank you for your interest in graduate nursing programs at The University of Southern Mississippi. In keeping with the vision of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, the School of Leadership and Advanced Practice Nursing strives to excel in the preparation of advanced practice nurses at the master’s and doctoral level through practice, scholarship and research. Each program emphasizes leadership in nursing practice and prepares nurse scholars for leadership in clinical, educational and administrative positions.

Our Programs
Programs include Family Nurse Practitioner (Post-Graduate Certificate and BSN-DNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Post-Graduate Certificate and BSN-DNP), Nurse Anesthesia (BSN-DNP), Clinical DNP (MSN-DNP), and PhD in Nursing Leadership (BSN-PhD and MSN-PhD).
The baccalaureate degree in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at The University of Southern Mississippi is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.
