Area Development Partnership: Eagle One Mega Site

The University of Southern Mississippi Master of Economic Development Department researchers conducted an analysis of five potential development scenarios of the Forrest and Lamar County Eagle One Mega Site. The Eagle One Mega Site has the potential to have significant economic and fiscal impacts on Forrest and Lamar Counties. It will require a large upfront investment, but by preparing the site well in advance of a project and being selective on the type of company attracted to the mega site, the counties can attain a positive return on investment.
