Financial Aid
We will register you for all your JUMP classes, and the expenses will include tuition and fees, books, supplies, and living expenses. The program itself does not charge a fee—you will only pay the expenses associated with your classes.
The good news is that you can complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2018-2019, even though you were in high school at the time, and apply any financial aid for which you qualify to this program. It will not cut into your 2019-2020 financial aid at all. Please note that if you are Pell Grant eligible, the maximum amount of money you would be able to receive is 3/4 the allotted amount. This is due to amount of hours you would be enrolled in as a student. For specific questions about your financial aid status, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Note: You must complete a FAFSA for 2018-19 (for Jump) AND for 2019-20 (for your first full year) in order to be eligible for financial aid.
Housing
JUMP 2019 Scholars will be residing in Century Park North. More details about the residence hall can be found here. While residing on campus is not required, it is highly suggested so the scholars get the full experience of the program.
Meal Plan
Students who live on campus are required to have a meal plan. Once a student has completed the housing application and been assigned a room, they are automatically signed up for their meal plan.
If you are not living on campus, you are still able to purchase a separate meal plan through Eagle Dining.
Parking
If a student will have a car on campus while in the program, the car will need to be registered through Parking and Transit Services. The cost of the parking pass during the summer is $25.
