Cindy Smartt

Originally from Signal Mountain, Tenn., Cindy Smartt has become nationally and internationally recognized as a top producer of corporate events.  Smartt co-founded Velocity Meetings and Entertainment in 2000 after 10 years of working in sales and marketing with Bristol Myers and other Fortune 500 companies.  In 2002, she became the sole proprietor of Smartt Entertainment, Inc., based in San Diego, and has booked and produced corporate entertainment for leading corporations such as PGA of America, Chevron, and Verizon.  Smartt has also produced for Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Diana Ross, and the Goo Goo Dolls.  Other shows have featured Bon Jovi in Maui, Hawaii, and Keith Urban in Sydney, Australia.  She has received international recognition for the development of her exclusive corporate programs featuring the stars and cast of “Dancing with the Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Top Chef.”  Smartt, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degree from USM, was inducted into the MCJ Hall of Fame in 2009.
