Students: Each year, the Gulf South Historical Association presents the William F. Coker Award for the best paper presented by a student at the annual conference. Please send an electronic version of the paper you will be giving at the 2015 conference, with foot or endnotes. Deadline for submission is August 31, 2015. Send submission, labeled 'William F. Coker Award Committee,' to Deanne Nuwer (deanne.nuwerFREEMississippi). The Coker Award carries a $250 cash prize and a plaque and is presented at the banquet during the annual conference. |
