Bio

Alyssa Staubach attended Mississippi State University for her BS in Elementary Education (2018). After teaching middle school, Ms. Staubach returned to MSU to complete her MS in Secondary Education (2020). Ms. Staubach is currently working on her PhD in STEM Education at USM. Since June 2021, Alyssa has served as the Student Support Specialist for the School of Education at USM. In this role, she is able to support students on their path to successful graduation by connecting them to helpful resources across campus as well as advising them for courses to help them reach degree completion. Her favorite part of working as a student support specialist is being able to work with students who are having difficulty with their academics. She enjoys being able to see them overcome these difficulties and graduate successfully.
