Bio
Amanda Melville is an instructor with the School of Kinesiology and program coordinator of the Physical Education Teacher Education Program. Ms. Melville's area of expertise is in Human Performance and Recreation with an emphasis on Physical Education and Sports Coaching. Ms. Melville is a former K-12 Physical Education teacher who has coached various youth sports and is passionate about shaping future educators and coaches.
Ms. Melville is a Coastal Mississippi native and outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys most outdoor activities like hiking, beaching, and bicycling, favoring paddle boarding and kayaking with her dogs, and is a former dragon boat race captain. When Ms. Amanda is not teaching or on the water, you can find her tending to the chickens and the garden.
