Bio
Dr. A. Dean Franks is an Assistant Professor in SoE at USM. They received their PhD (2017) in Curriculum and Instruction from TAMU, MA (2008) in English from SFASU, and BA (2004) in English from UCA. Their areas of specialization are Social-emotional development through STEAM activities and play, STEAM motivation, and LGTBQ+ educational experiences in STEAM education.
