Bio
Dr. Emily Bullock Yowell received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Florida State University in 2006. Since 2006, she has been a faculty member in USM’s School of Psychology. She serves as the Training Director for the Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program and is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Mississippi. Dr. Yowell’s research program focuses on career development and vocational psychology with an emphasis in Holland RIASEC Theory, Cognitive Information Process Theory, issues of decision making, and relevant assessment. Her work emphasizes the practical application of career assistance in the lives and well-being of people from all backgrounds.
