NEST (Network of Eagle Scholar Teachers)
Page Content
The Southern Miss Network of Eagle Scholar Teachers (NEST) provides an opportunity for faculty to gather as a learning community to investigate the scholarship of teaching. Through these investigations will emerge teaching circles, defined by Pat Hutchings in her book Making Teaching Community Property as “a small group of faculty who make a commitment to work together over a period of at least a semester to address questions and concerns about the particulars of their teaching and their students’ learning.” NEST offers faculty time to collaborate, support, fellowship and heighten each other’s teaching.
Come to the NEST (International Center 319) every third Monday from 3:00 - 4:15 pm to join the discussion!
