Equipping faculty to innovate and excel in research and scholarly activities
The Spring 2025 Educators’ Retreat for college faculty will provide an engaging introduction
to research development, tailored to support faculty members across various disciplines
and levels of experience. Participants will explore fundamental concepts and best
practices in research funding, grant writing, and collaborative opportunities, empowering
them to enhance their research programs effectively. Through interactive sessions
and expert-led discussions, faculty will gain practical insights and actionable next
steps to elevate their research initiatives, fostering a supportive environment for
academic growth and innovation. This retreat aims to inspire and equip educators with
the tools necessary to navigate the research landscape confidently.

GRADUATE MENTORSHIP TRAINING SERIES
Topics to be covered throughout the year include defining mentorship, understanding outcomes of effective mentoring, addressing demographic disparities of mentees, and attributes of effective mentor-mentee relationships (including academic, interpersonal, and psychosocial development).
