List of Past Volunteer Events 

Go Gold T-Shirt Donations (August, 2021)

We collaborated with Admissions and The Wesley Foundation to get Go Gold T-shirts to 47 international students. 

Blessings in a BackPack  (August, 2021)

37 students received backpacks to prepare them for Academic Success.

Spring Study Packs (April 2021)

We helped 35 international students get ready for close out the Spring with supplies for exam prep. 

Homebaked for the Holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas Editions) (November & December, 2020)

40+ students received holidays treats.  During Thanksgiving, one 'family' received an entire Thanksgiving meal.

Toys for Tots Donations (December 2020)

Donated toys and funds to support the drive.

Donated toys in support of the drive coordinated by our Center for Military Veterans, Service Members and Families.

Southern Miss Comcast Golf Classic

Date:  10/5/19

Location:  Canebrake Country Club

Description:  Each year, the tournament raises funds for more than 30 scholarships and stipends to benefit Southern Miss students.  Your help is needed to make this year’s event a success.

Eagle's Nest Food Pantry Donation Drive

October 14th through October 24th.

Join the USM Association of Office Professionals in helping stock the Eagle’s Nest Food Pantry.

Items needed include:

Canned fruit
Canned milk
Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.)
Peanut butter and jelly
Boxed or individual servings of mac and cheese
Spaghetti sauce and noodles
Shelf-stable prepared meals (beef stew, ravioli, lasagna, vegetarian meals, etc.)
Hygiene items (shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, deodorant, etc.)
School supplies (pens, 3-hole punched paper, spiral notebooks, etc.)
Dog food
Baby food 
Diapers
Donation boxes in Hattiesburg are located in the following locations:

Barnes and Noble Bookstore (1st floor by registers)
Century Park North (1st floor lobby)
Cook Library (1st floor lobby)
International Building (1st floor inside Einstein Brother’s Bagels/Zoca)
Liberal Arts Building (1st floor lobby)
Moffitt Health Center (lobby)
Payne Center (lobby)
Scianna Hall (1st floor)
Wilber Hall (1st floor lobby)
 

Donation boxes on the Gulf Park Campus are located in the following locations:

Fleming Education Center (near the 1st floor elevator)
Gulf Coast Library (1st floor lobby)
Hardy Hall (near the One Stop)
